NURTURING, TEACHING AND GROWING CHILDREN TO REACH THEIR HIGHEST POTENTIAL
Heavenly Kids Center for Learning is inspired by the principles of the Reggio Emilia approach - relationships, environment, and spaces are fundamental to this philosophy. Our mission is nurturing, teaching, and growing children to reach their highest potential.
Relationships are fundamental to our approach. The school environment is designed to foster relationships through interaction, exploration, and participation. By nurturing meaningful connections between children, teachers, and the environment, we create a sense of community that supports each child’s emotional and social well-being.
The spaces, activities, and environment around us have a big impact on how we feel and what feels possible. The learning environment at Heavenly Kids has been thoughtfully designed to foster exploration, participation, autonomy, and curiosity. We see the environment as the “third teacher,” capable of supporting and inspiring learning through connections between people, ideas, and things.
We use natural objects (like wood, stones, and plants) and recycled materials (such as plastic trays, pipes, and material offcuts) to stimulate and deepen the learning experience. At Heavenly Kids, we aim to encourage empathy, sustainability, and resourcefulness by helping children see new possibilities in natural and recycled objects and put them to creative use.
