OUR TEACHERS & ADMINISTRATORS
provide a quality early learning experience for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. We provide developmentally appropriate practices to meet the needs of our infants and toddlers, excellent academic foundations for our preschoolers, positive role modeling for our school agers, and an encouraging environment for each child we care for. We continually seek to build relationships throughout the community that will link our families to the businesses, educators, and community agencies equally dedicated to the advancement of children and families.
In 2014, former Columbus Mayor Michael Coleman selected Heavenly Kids to receive funding to help offer free preschool to families who qualify. Heavenly Kids is still a grant recipient under current Mayor Andrew Ginther. If you are over income for publicly funded child care or if you are unemployed you may qualify.
Our low teacher/child ratio allows the caregivers to provide security, identity, exploration and continuity of care for a
journey of searching and learning.
Our program is designed for individual development at the child's own pace.
We utilize Creative Curriculum that meets Ohio Department of Education's birth through age 5 content standards for early learning.
We offer grant opportunities for families not working or who may not qualify for subsidized childcare.
We offer before and after school care for children ages 5 years to 12 years old.
Heavenly Kids provides transportation to and from area schools. Children are given a healthy breakfast and snack daily. Extended care is also available when school is not in session.
Our Local Exploration summer camp takes place every June through August.
